Stephanie Del Giorgio, LMT

Stephanie is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Arizona. She received her certification in massage from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2000 where she explored several massage modalities as well as the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology. Stephanie’s education at SWIHA is the foundation upon which she has built her bodywork.

She has spent the last three years working in a physical therapy office in Ahwatukee where she has more fully developed her skills as a medically based and sports massage therapist. She focuses on providing therapeutic massage that gets results for her clients whether they are seeking pain management, efficiency in athletic endeavors or pure relaxation. Her goal is to help her clients achieve an optimal state of well-being.

Stephanie has worked with clients managing a variety of physical issues including cancer, MS, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson's Disease, joint surgeries (ankle, hip knee and shoulder repair and/or replacements) and vertebral fusions. She has also worked with many elite and “weekend warrior” athletes to encourage improvement, prevent and reduce injury and accomplish training and race day goals. As a runner herself, she is familiar with many sports injuries and injury prevention techniques. Her therapies are customized for each client based on their specific requests and she utilizes several modalities to accommodate the goals of each session.

Stephanie is excited to join the Mountain Waves team in January 2010. She recently relocated to Flagstaff upon getting married after living in Phoenix for several years with her two lovely daughters. She also holds a BSBA from Northern Arizona University. Reestablishing her successful career to accompany her new life in Flagstaff is her focus!

Stephanie is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Your massage and bodywork experience at Mountain Waves Healing Arts is a unique session between you and your therapist. Because of the unique talent and skill sets of each therapist, we allow the therapists practicing with us to establish their own rates. In most cases, your payment will be made to your therapist directly.
