General Relaxation
massage is the classic form of Swedish massage that most people are familiar with.  It incorporates long, flowing strokes that achieves a deeply relaxing state of consciousness while flushing and rejuvenating muscle tissue with fresh oxygenated blood.  Available in 2 hour, 1 1/2 hour and 1 hour session lengths.

Deep Tissue is massage geared to enhancing peak athletic performance.  For this therapy, we combine the tools of myotherapy, with deep trigger point work, active release techniques, myofacial release techniques, scar tissue removal and proprioceptive stretching to help eliminate the by-products of exercise from muscle tissue.   While this therapy may seem to be geared to athletes, we have found great results with these techniques on non-athletic clients who want a more invigorating session.  Available in 1 1/2 hour and 1 hour session lengths.

Neuromuscular Release is a gentle, non-invasive modality for relief of chronic or acute pain due to injury, stress, repetitive strain, postural distortion, and chronic neuromuscular conditions..  The client can choose to wear loose, comfortable clothing or be unclothed.  Combining the different techniques of the muscle energy technique PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), strain/counterstrain, positional therapy, myotherapy and trigger point technique, the therapy passively releases tight, constricted muscles, allowing them to reset to their neutral state thereby restoring range of motion and relieving pain. The results are often dramatic and long lasting.  Some conditions that often respond to Neuromuscular Release include headaches/migraines, back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, limited range of motion of joints, sports injuries, thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatica, fibromyalgia, and tendonitis. Available in 1 hour and 1/2 hour session lengths.

Aromatherapy is a holistic therapy that takes into account the mind, body and spirit through the use of pure essential oils of plants.   Essential oils are easily absorbed by the skin.  Inhaling the aroma also allows the body to absorb the oil's essence through the lungs.  From there the essence is disbursed through the blood stream benefiting the central nervous system and endocrine system which regulates hormonal balance.   On the physical level, essential oils can be antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal which aid in supporting your immune system.  At the same time, the aromas themselves work on your emotional and spiritual bodies providing harmony and balance to your being.  Aromatherapy may be used as part of your primary massage session.
